AlphaTauri confirms Gasly for 2021 F1 season

AlphaTauri has announced that it has retained Pierre Gasly for the 2021 Formula 1 season following a successful campaign that saw him become a race winner this year. The 2021 campaign will be Gasly’s fourth in F1, having originally joined the Faenza-based squad towards the end of 2017 when it ran under the Toro Rosso name. For 2019, he was promoted to the senior Red Bull team, but was dropped back to Toro Rosso halfway through the season due to poor results. However at the Brazilian Grand Prix last year, Gasly capped off the season with a podium at Brazilian before winning this year’s race at Monza under the new AlphaTauri brand. “I’m extremely happy to continue with Scuderia...
