Driver concern over ‘dangerous' pit-lane exit

A tight pit-lane exit could cause a few incidents at Turn 1 during the Portuguese Grand Prix, with drivers expressing their concerns about the layout. The pit-lane exit feeds back onto the straight before Turn 1, but the tight line that has caused means drivers exiting the pits are heading into Turn 1 much slower than those on the race track proper. The FIA has tried to implement a short-term fix by angling the final part of the pit lane exit further to the left to help create a better angle going into Turn 1.
