Nico Hulkenberg Knocked Out Of Q1, 0.9s Off Perez's Pace

Nico Hulkenberg has been knocked out of the first segement of qualifying for the Eifel Grand Prix, with his fastest lap of the session being just under one second slower than team-mate Sergio Perez's best lap. With the German not having driven an F1 car since Silverstone earlier this year, it was always going to be a tall order for Hulkenberg to make it into Q2 at the Nurburgring.
