Horner: Red Bull ‘remains committed' to Formula 1

Red Bull has said they are still fully committed to Formula 1 despite engine partners Honda announcing they are leaving the sport at the end of 2021. The Japanese engine manufacturer has decided to move their attention away from Formula 1 and to instead ‘ strive for the realization of carbon neutrality by 2050'. The news leaves Red Bull and AlphaTauri without an engine supplier for 2022 and beyond but team boss Christian Horner has reassured the motorsport community that the two teams are still in Formula 1 for the long haul even with Honda's now imminent exit.
