Red flag recovery banks Hamilton British GP pole

Lewis Hamilton Lewis Hamilton recovered from a red-flagged triggering spin to claim for the Formula 1 British Grand Prix for the seventh time in his career. The Englishman was untouchable in the final phase of the session while he and Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas proved a second quicker than the rest of the field. Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) will line up third for Red Bull alongside Charles Leclerc (Ferrari) in fourth, while Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) lost his best lap to end up 10th for Sunday's race.
