Perez says he followed all protocols, explains Mexico trip

Racing Point driver Sergio Perez says he followed all of the FIA’s protocol and that his positive Covid-19 test result “shows how vulnerable we all are.” Perez returned an inconclusive test on Thursday and a re-test confirmed that he was diagnosed as Covid-19 positive. Under UK health guidelines he will self-isolate and not participate at this weekend’s Formula 1 British Grand Prix. He is set to be replaced at Racing Point by Nico Hulkenberg.
