Haas team principal Guenther Steiner has said "we would do the same thing again" despite being penalised for a formation lap gamble in Hungary. Haas qualified 16th and 18th at the Hungarian Grand Prix and appeared to have made an inspired decision to pit both Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen for slicks at the end of the formation lap. Article continues under video As other pitted under race conditions, Haas briefly had both cars running inside the top four, but a post-race investigation rule the instruction to pit contravened regulations. As a result, both drivers were given ten-second penalties. Even with this however, Magnussen was successful in scoring the teams first point...
