Alfa Romeo gets punishment after Raikkonen's wheel breaks loose
Alfa Romeo had a double start of the season. On the one hand Antonio Giovinazzi raked in the first points of the season with a ninth place, but on the other hand Kimi Raikkonen lost his right front wheel just after a pit stop and fell out. Punishment for Alfa Romeo Alfa Romeo was called to the stewards' mat immediately after the match. Loose parts on Formula 1 cars can result in high penalties in Formula 1, because the loose parts are dangerous for other drivers and personnel along the track. However, the team gets away with a fine of 5,000 euros. Raikkonen will also receive no further penalties for the next race. Read more Sebastian Vettel: 'This is definitely not the car I drove on...
