Ferrari to run 2018 car at Mugello

Charles Leclerc and Sebastian Vettel will limber up for the start of the new Formula 1 season by driving a 2018 Ferrari at Mugello in Italy on Tuesday. The test session serves as practice behind the wheel for the two World Championship hopefuls ahead of the Austrian Grand Prix at the Red Bull Ring on July 5. There could also be another valuable purpose to the mission as Mugello has been strongly linked as a potential addition to this year’s re-arranged F1 calendar. It gives the Ferrari duo the chance to increase their familiarity with the circuit north east of Florence.
