Only five current F1 drivers for virtual GP finale

Only five Formula 1 drivers will compete in the final round of its Virtual Grand Prix series this weekend, a reduction on recent numbers. Formula 1 has arranged virtual events on its official F1 2019 to take place instead of grands prix that have been postponed or cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic. This weekend’s upcoming round, using Canada’s Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, is set to be the last before the on-track action gets underway in Austria next month.
