OFFICIAL: Aston Martin appoints new CEO and chooses head of Mercedes

It's official. Aston Martin says goodbye to Andy Palmer as CEO as of August 1 and he makes way for Tobias Moers. As previous rumours had suggested, the British brand will be headed by Daimler/Mercedes from August onwards. New CEO for Aston Martin Moers has been at the top of the car market for years. He has held various management positions within Daimler AG for some 25 years and is currently the Chairman of the Executive Board as well as the CEO of Mercedes-AMG GmbH.
