Leclerc closes out Austrian GP practice fastest
Charles Leclerc kept Ferrari at the top of the timesheets in final practice for the Austrian Grand Prix on Saturday, edging out championship leader Lewis Hamilton by one-tenth of a second. After leading a truncated second practice session on Friday afternoon, Leclerc managed to stay out front in FP3 as teams completed their first clean qualifying simulations of the weekend. Leclerc managed to record a best time of 1m03.987s on the Soft compound tyre to finish fastest, 0.143s clear of Hamilton in second place as Ferrari sent out a warning shot ahead of qualifying later today.
