Hulkenberg handed Austrian GP grid penalty

Austrian Grand Prix – Nico Hulkenberg will be given a five-place starting grid penalty after the team confirmed that he will be taking new power unit components. Renault endured a trying practice day which resulted in both Hulkenberg and Daniel Ricciardo finishing way down the order. This was partly due to the red flags, but they admitted that they struggled with the balance of the cars at the Red Bull Ring. Ahead of the qualifying day, Renault have confirmed that they will also upgrade Hulkenberg's power unit to use the ‘spec B' internal combustion engine element.
