Hamilton avoids punishment for Verstappen FP2 incident

French Grand Prix stewards have opted to take no further action over the incident involving Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen during second practice. Hamilton endured a sideways moment at Turn 4 and hit a bollard as he spun off the circuit, before later rejoining the track ahead of Verstappen, who was on a flying lap. The Red Bull driver was caught off guard by Hamilton and ran wide at Turn 5, with Hamilton immediately waving an apologetic hand to Verstappen.
