Hamilton skipping media duties in France
Lewis Hamilton will not face the media ahead of the French Grand Prix after being given dispensation by Mercedes to travel to Le Castellet later, in order to attend a memorial event dedicated to the fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld in Paris. Fashion plays a huge role in Hamilton's life away from racing and he has recently launched clothing lines with Tommy Hilfiger. Article continues under video Lagerfeld passed away in February aged 85, with famous fashion brands Fendi and Chanel coming together to organise a tribute event in Paris in his memory. Hamilton will be in attendance. The likes of Pharrell Williams, Cara Delevingne and Gigi Hadid are also likely to be in attendance.
