Sam Bird wins the 50th edition of Formula E
British driver Sam Bird has won the Hong Kong E-Prix after another race full of nose-to-nose racing. Edoardo Mortara and Lucas di Grassi completed the podium on Formula E's 50th edition. Stoffel Vandoorne started on pole but was forced into a retirement 15 minutes from the chequered flag. Felipe Massa finished inside the top 10 as two other former Formula 1 drivers collided together to bring out the red flag. Bird becomes the first multiple race winner of the season having won the Marrakesh E-Prix in January and he takes the championship lead. Vandoorne, the former McLaren driver lost his lead in the opening corner. Bird moved up five places, contributing to the total of 42 overtakes...
