Russell: The aim is to push Williams forward
George Russell says he's not in F1 to race for 19th or 20th so his goal as a Williams driver will be to help Robert Kubica push the team 'forward.' Russell will make his Formula 1 debut next season, stepping up after winning this year's Formula 2 championship. The Brit, though, is going from fighting for wins and titles to racing for a team that this season finished bottom of the championship. Williams managed just seven points in 21 grands prix as their FW41 failed to deliver or respond to upgrades that the team introduced throughout the season.
