Ferrari to test 2019 front wings in Abu Dhabi

Ferrari will try out the new spec front wings which will come into action next season, aimed at making them simpler whilst also improving racing by making cars easier to follow. Teams have been told by the FIA that they will not be given the chance to run the new wings in this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, but Ferrari have specially created a wing to test in practice so they can learn more about the new wings. The wing Ferrari have designed is within the rules for this year, but is similar to the rules for 2019. It has smoother endplates, which is a key feature of the new wings.
