Vandoorne closing in on Formula E deal

Formula E is often the place Formula One drivers' look to when they miss out on an F1 seat. Stoffel Vandoorne is seemingly no different with reports of a deal to race in the championship close to being signed. The current McLaren driver missed out on retaining his seat when Carlos Sainz and Lando Norris were announced as replacements for himself and Fernando Alonso. According to E-racing365, Vandoorne is close to signing for the electric brother of F1. The latest suggestions are that he will try and get a deal with HWA team pairing up with Gary Paffett.
