Pirelli outlines one-stop Italian Grand Prix strategies

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has outlined the strategy options for the Italian Grand Prix, with a straightforward one-stop approach likely. Pirelli has brought the Supersoft, Soft and Medium tyres to the high-speed Monza circuit, with either of the two latter compounds mandatory for one stint of the race. A one-stop approach is usually adopted at Monza due to the relative lack of tyre degradation, and the substantial time loss encountered in the pit lane. Pirelli believes that the quickest approach is a one-stop Supersoft/Soft strategy, with a wide window for the pit stop, likely between laps 20 and 30 of the 53-lap Grand Prix.
