Pérez hoping to head into summer break with good performance

Sergio Pérez said that he wants to get as positive a result as possible at the Hungarian Grand Prix, before Formula 1‘s summer break. The Mexican believes that heading into the summer on the back of a good result contributes to a 'better holiday'. The Sahara Force India F1 Team have been on a strong run of form, scoring 31 points in the last three races, helping them to climb level with the Haas F1 Team for fifth place in the Constructors' Championship. 'You always want to do well on the final race before the holidays,' said Pérez. 'As a racing driver, you only remember your last race and you want to go into the break with some nice memories.
