Alonso against proposed new points system in F1

Fernando Alonso has announced he is against the proposed new points system in F1. An idea to expand the number of drivers who score points after a Grand Prix race was revealed last weekend. Currently, only the top ten drivers score points, but it's been proposed to increase this to 15. The two-time World Champion suggested it'll seem like good news to the smaller teams, but it won't work out in favour of the sport. "The leading drivers always get points and so it can be a great moment if you get two points," he told Germany's sport.de. "I remember when Jules [Bianchi] was ninth in Monaco and scored points, and it was like a miracle and a great moment for the sport."...
