Gasly: Vandoorne clash resulted in rallycross car

Pierre Gasly says he was left driving a 'rallycross' car more than a Formula 1 machine after lap 1 contact with Stoffel Vandoorne in Austria. Battling for position on the opening lap, Vandoorne hit Gasly's Toro Rosso at Turn 3 at the Red Bull Ring. The impact damaged the STR13's suspension and floor, however, the Frenchman still completed the grand prix, unfortunately outside the points in 11th place. 'Honestly for me it was one of the toughest races I've ever had because after the contact in Turn 3 with Stoffel the rear suspension was bent and it took like half of floor on the rear out, so from that on I was just sliding everywhere and fighting so much with the car,' Gasly told Autosport....
