Magnussen says Barcelona speed ‘encouraging' as ‘upgrades are yet to come'

Monaco Grand Prix – Haas' Kevin Magnussen says that he and the team are pleased with their speed in Barcelona, particularly as they are yet to bring significant upgrades to the car. Magnussen finished a stellar P6 last time out in Spain, best of the rest behind the ‘big 3' of Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull after Kimi Raikkonen's retirement. With Haas on 19 points in the championship, all courtesy of Kevin Magnussen after three points scoring drives from the opening races, the team has shown strong initial pace.
