Bottas sets Testing pace

Valtteri Bottas and Mercedes set the fastest time of the first in-season test to pip Ferrari to the top of the day two lunchtime timesheet in Barcelona. The Finn, who finished second in Sunday's Spanish GP, posted a best time of 1:16.904 after 60 laps to lead Ferrari's Antonio Giovinazzi by 0.068s. Bottas' time was over six tenths quicker than the leading time Max Verstappen had set in the Red Bull on day one, but still well down on Lewis Hamilton's pole lap of 1:16.1 at the weekend's grand prix. Giovinazzi's effort of 1:16.972 was nearly seven tenths better than what Sebastian Vettel produced on Tuesday. Kevin Magnussen was third in the Haas with a 1:18.274 and nearly two tenths quicker...
