Red Bull shuffles technical heads structure

Red Bull has reorganised its Formula 1 technical department structure with Pierre Wache promoted to the newly-created role of Technical Director. Iconic F1 designer Adrian Newey, a world title winner with McLaren, Williams and Red Bull, retains his place as the team’s Chief Technical Officer to oversee the department working on both its F1 efforts with the new RB14 plus his new focus on Aston Martin’s road car projects including the Valkyrie. In order to increase its technical department strength, the four-time F1 world champions have promoted Chief Engineer of Performance Wache into the new role of Technical Director to work alongside Newey.
