F1: Schumacher to test for Rahal at Indianapolis
Rahal Letterman Lanigan Racing has announced that Mick Schumacher will participate in an IndyCar test with the team at Indianapolis next month. Schumacher, son of legendary seven-time world champion, Michael Schumacher, and who currently competes in the WEC for Alpine, will drive on the road course on 13 October. Schumacher most recently drove an open-wheel race car as Mercedes reserve driver while competing in WEC in 2024, participating in tests at Silverstone, Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya and Paul Ricard. The test at IMS will enable him to familiarize himself with the technical specifications of the IndyCar series with an eye toward possible participation in the future. During the 2025...
