F1: Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Preview - Alpine
BWT Alpine Formula One Team heads to Baku for the 2025 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, Round 17 of the FIA Formula One World Championship. Pierre Gasly and Franco Colapinto are looking forward to returning to a circuit where both have achieved good results in the past. Pierre finished on the podium in 2021 while Franco scored his debut points finish in Formula One at last year's race. The one-of-a-kind circuit features the 'Castle Section,' which sees drivers wind their way past the UNESCO World Heritage site that is the Walled City of Baku. The narrowest part of the circuit measures at only 7.6 metres. The lap then finishes with a 2km flat-out straight, the longest of the calendar. This variety...
