Wolff hails Bottas’ contribution as Mercedes bids farewell

28/08/2025 at 09:2328/08/2025 at 09:16 Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff expressed mixed emotions about Valtteri Bottas’ confirmed move to Cadillac’s Formula 1 team for the 2026 season. The announcement, made on Tuesday, marks the end of Bottas’ second stint with the Brackley-based squad, where he has served as a reserve driver this year. While Wolff celebrated the Finn’s return to a full-time race seat in F1, he admitted the departure would leave a void in the team.
