Piastri honoured with grandstand at 2026 Australian Grand Prix

© XPB  Michael Delaney 18/08/2025 at 17:1218/08/2025 at 15:56 Formula 1 championship leader Oscar Piastri will have a new piece of Albert Park history bearing his name when the Piastri Grandstand debuts at the 2026 Australian Grand Prix. The Melbourne-born McLaren driver, currently in the midst of a breakout season, will join Australian greats Sir Jack Brabham, Alan Jones, Mark Webber, and Daniel Ricciardo in having a stand named after him at his home race. The new grandstand will be located on the main straight opposite pit lane and the McLaren garage, offering some of the most sought-after seats in the house.
