Haas 'very impressed' with faultless Bearman in FP1
Haas has praised Oliver Bearman for the "very good job" done by the Ferrari junior on his F1 debut in Friday’s FP1 in Mexico City, commending the young Briton on both his engagement and feedback Bearman, who currently competes in the FIA Formula 2 Championship, geared up for his official F1 debut with Haas with a day of running at Fiorano two weeks ago onboard a 2021-spec Ferrari SF-21. The 18-year-old Briton took to the track on Friday at the wheel of Kevin Magnussen’s VF-23 and set the 15th fastest time during the session, three spots and 0.3s behind Nico Hulkenberg. Bearman was also the fastest of the five young rookies that took part in Friday’s opening practice...
