The FIA approves Andretti Formula Racing application
The FIA, Formula 1's governing body said on Monday it had approved Andretti Formula Racing as a candidate to enter the sport as a new 11th team.
Liberty Media-owned Formula 1 said separately it would carry out its own assessment of the merits of Andretti's bid, which is now the only one remaining.
