Wolff to miss Japanese Grand Prix to undergo surgery

Article To news overview © XPBimages Mercedes Team Principal Toto Wolff will miss the Japanese Grand Prix due to having surgery in the days leading up to the race. A team spokesperson confirmed to RacingNews365 that Wolff would undergo surgery and miss the visit to Suzuka across the weekend of 22-24th September. It is understood that Wolff is be operated on for a long-standing knee injury after the Singapore Grand Prix the week before the Japanese GP. Wolff has missed a handful of races in recent years, including the 2019 Brazilian and 2022 Japanese and Sao Paulo Grands Prix.
