Max Verstappen lands Red Bull in trouble with the stewards

Red Bull were fined £428 on Friday at the Italian Grand Prix, after Max Verstappen was adjudged to have sped in the pit-lane. The opening day at the ‘Temple of Speed' was a mediocre one for the reigning World Champion, who topped Free Practice 1 before finishing fifth in Free Practice 2. It was in FP2 were the Dutchman was caught speeding in the pit-lane, albeit only just. Verstappen went 4.8kph over the 80kph pit-lane speed limit at Monza, resulting in Red Bull receiving a fine of just £428, based on the system of £84.60 per kph over the limit.
