Pirelli opt for different compounds at Hungary

Article To news overview © XPBimages Pirelli has confirmed the tyres it will take to the final Formula 1 rounds before the summer break. The tyre maker will be bringing softer compounds to the Hungarian Grand Prix compared to last year, nominating the C3, C4 and C5 as the Hard, Medium and Soft compounds respectively. The Alternative Tyre Allocation will make its debut after it was due to make its first appearance at the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix, before it was postponed. Under the ATA regulations only one type of compound will be used in each of the three parts of qualifying: Hard for Q1, Medium for Q2, and Soft for Q3.
