What time does the 24 Hours of Le Mans start?

Saturday is the day: the 24 Hours of Le Mans! The event starts at 15:00 BST. The iconic race, which is part of the WEC championship, lasts exactly 24 hours and thus finishes a day later on Sunday. But what time does the race start? Article continues under ad The race at the Circuit de la Sarthe in France kicks off at 16:00 local time on Saturday. 24 hours later, the race will end and the winners of the 100th edition of Le Mans 24 Hours will be known. The race has several classes in which to race. The three best known are the hypercars, the LMP2 and the GTE-Am.
