Russell says his mistake under wet conditions cost a ‘guaranteed P3’ 

George Russell believes that the mistake he made under yellow flags in wet conditions during the Monaco Grand Prix cost him a “guaranteed P3” finish.  The Mercedes driver switched directly to the Intermediate tyre from the Hard tyre he started the race on, unlike team-mate Lewis Hamilton and Alpine’s Esteban Ocon.
