Ex-Schumacher F1 debut Jordan up for sale again
Article To news overview © Bonhams Michael Schuamcher's first Formula 1 car he drove at Spa Francorchamps in 1991 has come up for sale again just 18 months after it was last sold. The Jordan 191 is the actual chassis (number six) used by the seven-time World Champion on the weekend of his debut, where he qualified seventh but failed to finish the race due to a clutch failure. Schumacher was replacing Bertrand Gachot at the time, after the Frenchman got himself into legal trouble. It is one of seven 191 cars built and was driven by Alex Zanardi and Andrea De Cesaris during the 1991 season.
