Max Verstappen wants to dethrone ‘king of the castle'

Karun Chandhok has given his verdict as to why Max Verstappen is fiercer against Lewis Hamilton than 2022 rival Charles Leclerc, with the ex-F1 driver believing that the Dutchman feels like he has to 'assert himself' against the seven-time World Champion. Verstappen claimed his second consecutive Drivers' Championship with relative ease this year, with Ferrari having effectively ended Leclerc's title hopes following a catalogue of strategic errors. The Dutchman incredibly claimed 15 wins in 2022, a new record for the most wins in a single season.
