Seidl confirmed as Sauber Group CEO

Andreas Seidl will join Sauber Group, owners of the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team as group CEO, shortly after Frederic Vasseur was announced to be leaving the team for Ferrari. The announcement came after a day of a Formula 1 team bosses merry-go-round, that started on Monday with Jost Capito leaving Williams, followed by Vasseur switching to Ferrari. Earlier reports have claimed that Seidl would be on his way to Sauber to lead the Audi/Sauber project towards 2026, the year when the new power unit regulations will become effective.
