Ricciardo says F1 'time out' will boost future prospects

Daniel Ricciardo is facing the end of his Formula 1 career, for the time being at least, after being dropped by the McLaren team a year ahead of the end of his current contract. Ricciardo agreed to an early termination of his arrangement with the team after a disappointing second season with the team. He now looks unlikely to get a race seat anywhere else on the grid for 2023.
