Pedro de la Rosa named Aston Martin team ambassador

Aston Martin announced today that they have appointed former Formula 1 driver, Spaniard Perdro de la Rosa as their team ambassador. De la Rosa is a veteran of 105 grands prix having having started his career Arrow in 1999, then switched to Jaguar in 2001 where he remained for two seasons. In and on and off career, the Spaniard also drove for McLaren in 2006, BMW Sauber in 2010 and one race in 2011, and went on to join the HRT F1 team in 2012, his final season in the sport. His best result in F1 was a podium, second place, at the 2006 Hungarian Grand Prix, driving for McLaren.
