Mercedes realistic: 'It's rarely an easy race here'
Andrew Shovlin looks back on the Monaco Grand Prix qualifying with disappointment. Although Mercedes hoped it could compete with Red Bull Racing and Ferrari for the front positions, the German racing team had to settle for a spot in the middle. "It was a difficult day for the team and the drivers," Shovlin analyzed in Mercedes' press release. "The car was not easy to work with here and the driving problems we had made it difficult for George and Lewis to have confidence in the car."
