Horner explains problems Verstappen: 'Don't want things cooking themselves'

The first free practice session for the Miami Grand Prix did not go as planned for Max Verstappen. The Dutchman was limited in action due to problems with an overheated car. At Sky Sports, Christian Horner explains the situation. Verstappen was in the garage for much of FP1 due to maintenance on his car to get the temperatures under control. The track temperature in Miami rose to around fifty degrees Celsius. "We're just wanting to make sure we get the temperatures under control at this stage. You don't want things running hot and cooking themselves", explains Horner.
