Italy reportedly seizes Mazepin properties worth £87m
Properties worth £87m belonging to Dmitry and ex-Haas driver Nikita Mazepin have been seized by Italy, according to a report. Following Russia's invasion of Ukraine, the Haas Formula 1 team were forced to take drastic action regarding their sponsorship from Dmitry Mazepin's Uralkali firm, and his son Nikita who was driving for the team alongside Mick Schumacher. Ultimately, Haas cut ties with Uralkali and the Mazepins. Not long afterwards, both Nikita and Dmitry Mazepin joined a list of Russians facing financial sanctions, aimed at financially penalising wealthy Russians with links to president Vladimir Putin.
