Masi loses race director role
FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem has announced that Michael Masi is to given a new role within the FIA, to be replaced by Niels Wittich and Eduardo Freitas will act alternatively as race director, with assistance from Herbie Blash. In a video statement issued minutes after Ferrari took the warps off its 2022 contender - thereby stealing the Maranello outfit's thunder - Ben Sulayem announced his plans for a new refereeing process for the sport.
