Massa appointed as new president of the FIA Driver's Commission
The new FIA president, Mohammed Ben Sulayem, seems to have begun the restructuring of motorsport. As a result, Felipe Massa has been appointed as the new president of the Driver's Commission. The Driver's Commission was created to give the drivers a voice. Through this commission the drivers can indicate to the FIA which problems they are facing, so that these can be solved together. Experienced and respected drivers are appointed as president and this year that has been Massa. The Brazilian had previously been appointed president of the International Karting Commission, but he will now mostly focus on his new role. It's all part of Ben Sulaymen's plan.
