Popularity in America offers Formula 1 new opportunities

Formula 1 seems to benefit from the title fight between Lewis Hamilton and Max Verstappen this season. While viewing figures are growing in Europe, American motorsport fans are also sitting in front of the television more and more often. This became clear during the United States Grand Prix last weekend. No less than 1,2 million people were watching the battle between Mercedes and Red Bull Racing on television.
