Qualifying duels | Verstappen 'beaten' by Perez for second time
Max Verstappen suffered his second defeat in the qualifying duel with Sergio Perez. In fifteen GP weekends, Verstappen was thirteen times the faster of the two on Saturday, but after Imola Perez now drove a faster time at the Sochi circuit. Fernando Alonso again grabbed the lead opposite Esteban Ocon. Pierre Gasly and George Russell, meanwhile, are still flawless.
