Pirelli have no fears over Zandvoort's 19′ banking
Taking on Zandvoort's banked corners, Pirelli F1 boss Mario Isola says they are not worried about the load the tyres will experience. This season Formula 1 is back in the Netherlands, racing at the Zandvoort circuit which offers a different challenge for the drivers. Billed as a old school track, Zandvoort includes two banked corners, one of which is 19′. It has brought back memories of the 2005 Indianapolis Grand Prix when Michelin's tyres were unable to deal with the banked corner, even though that was just a 9′ banking.
